Our name, Tenaxiti, is inspired by the Gibbs family motto, Tenax Propositi, which means “tenacious of purpose” in Latin. This reflects our commitment to resilience and unwavering commitment in helping organisations achieve meaningful, lasting change.
Meet our founder
Shannon Roberts Gibbs is an accomplished Organisational Psychologist and executive leader with over 18 years of expertise in organisational psychology, leadership development, and culture change. Her career has been defined by a commitment to transformative impact, leading her to establish Tenaxiti, a consulting practice dedicated to driving meaningful, sustainable change in workplaces. Shannon combines deep psychological expertise with a proven track record of business transformation, innovation, and fostering high-performing cultures across national and global teams.
Throughout her career, Shannon has held pivotal roles, including Managing Director at Hudson, where she led national talent assessment solutions across Australia and New Zealand; General Manager QLD at Chandler Macleod, overseeing leadership and recruitment strategies; and Operations Manager for East Australia and Global Leader of Innovation at Sentis, where she directed award-winning programs in leadership, safety, and well-being. Shannon is also a highly sought-after speaker and facilitator, known for her insights on leadership, team effectiveness, inclusivity, and psychosocial safety.
Her unique blend of academic credentials and executive experience makes her a trusted advisor for organisations seeking to create resilient, inclusive, and growth-oriented cultures.
Shannon holds a Master of Organisational Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Bachelor of Criminology, and is certified in Hogan, DiSC, TMP, SHL, Genos and AON assessments. She is a Board Approved Psychology Supervisor and has completed the AICD Company Directors Course.
